I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The location is outstanding - conveniently situated near key attractions, making exploration effortless. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the overall experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and care. The hotel’s atmosphere was both inviting and aesthetically pleasing, creating a relaxing environment that felt like a home away from home.

When was the last time you came across a maître d'hôtel who sees his job as an art form of creating memorable moments? Fabrizio deserves a PhD in hospitality, as does the rest of the team. Catarina is a receptionist who doubles as a well-versed local guide and a professional from head to toe. She remained tolerant and kind even when a demanding guest vexed her over the phone. How wonderful it is to be a guest in a hotel where you are not just a number but a cherished guest for whom each staff member goes the extra mile. The extraordinary experience continued at breakfast The new management, Minor Hotels, understands the essence of hospitality. Their involvement is a guarantee of quality. Their portfolio comprises over 550 hotels spread around the globe. Are you familiar with names such as Anantara, Avani or NH Hotels? Finally, we must compare the former Hotel Falisia with the new Hotel Tivoli. A breath of fresh air and a new hospitable approach have helped the hotel evolve. The architecture is ageing elegantly, acquiring a refined patina. Not least, the diversified offerings give the hotel substance. The question remains: which is better - the former Hotel Falisia or the new Hotel Tivoli? Although we prefer to avoid answering such questions, the numbers speak for themselves. Hotel Tivoli is captivating and designed for those who want premium quality. In this light, Tivoli Portopiccolo Resort is eyeing other flagship incentive hotels that dot the Adriatic and aiming to claim the top spot.

We were warmly greeted on arrival. We arrived at 12.30pm and our room was not ready. So, the receptionist kindly said we can use one of the spa rooms to get changed and suggested we go over to the beach club. The beach club is a great addition, although we did have to pay more to get access to the pool. We received a text when the room was ready and it was beautiful, on the front of the marina and very well decorated. The bathroom was lovely. The only issue was that the shower door didn't allow for a towel to be placed down whilst opening into the main bathroom area. We didn't realize breakfast was only served until 10.30am, so despite us arriving around that time the receptionist kindly let us in regardless. He was very helpful when we asked to call for a taxi, however we were surprised and had no idea that a hotel would have trouble getting a taxi into the main city of Trieste! Fortunately some other guests were very kind to let us ride with them - all arranged by the receptionist. Fantastic service and made the overall panic over missing our cruise disappear!

This is a relatively new property, a lovely setting next to the marina, very well thought out, beautiful rooms, nice attention to detail, spacious rooms, lovely bed linen and super comfortable beds. I wish we had more time to enjoy the wellness facilities but it was a fleeting visit. Room service dinner was very nice.

Apart from the fact that the spa was not working, which is why we booked this hotel, everything else was very good. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is good, the staff is very friendly, especially Miro, who helped us with our luggage and explained everything about the destination.
